today....

I finally had a day where nothing had to be done. There was LOTS that needed to be done, but nothing that had to be done. Austin stayed home with me and we had jammie day. The boys love jammie day. A sign that there is no where we have to be except home. With the CRAZY month we have had- have I mentioned we moved? We did, almost a month ago- finally getting settled and not having to worry about what needs to be done and by when.....

Anyways.... today was a nice day to just be.

We picked up Riley from school and he showed us his metal he received for all the reading he has done at home this school year. He read 60 hours during the year and received the silver metal. He was happy for the silver, but is already looking to read more so next year he can get the gold. Ambitious much?

I put my soda on this shelf so it is safe from Austin. Nothing is really ever that safe from that child! He is determined to find a way, but for now, I'm not gonna help him..... and enjoy my soda to myself.
