pinewood derby

the scouts had their pinewood derby this weekend!

check out all those cars.

ready and excited for the races!

i tried to get a pic with all three of them with their cars, but austin didn't want his picture taken.

riley wanted his car to have a hole in the middle of it. i don't know why. but he got the hole. he wanted it purple- cause you know- it's not just a girl color- boys can like it too.

i did convince him to get one all by himself.

austin didn't care what he car looked like, as long as it was red and had flames on it.

pack 304!

then they handed out the awards. austin was done by then- i was amazed he stayed even that long- and brad had come to pick him up so i went to take him out and my dad said to wait a minute, austin should place. i didn't think so. we play for fun and aren't in it to get an award. and i was busy with pack stuff i didn't get to see a lot of the race- but he did place! he was so excited! all 3 boys placed!

austin took 4th

riley took 2nd

landon took first!
