HaPpY VaLeNTiNeS DaY!!!!!!!

i love that there was no school today. teacher in-service. made for a fun valentines day- and all the parties and fun at school was over so it was relaxing! for their classes, we made oreo cookies dipped in white chocolate and covered in sprinkles. i love sprinkles. when i say covered, they were covered!!!! and it's so easy to make and they look so cute. we opted for those instead of valentine cards to pass out. 

we let the boys open their little gifts brad and i got them early too- it was fun. a puppy box of see's candy, a tie tac, and cloudy with a chance of meatballs 2. also, perfect timing, we watched jumanji on tv last weekend, which they loved, and i ordered a couple more movies they were wanting to check out- little rascals, hook, goonies and they came in the mail yesterday so we have been watching them. fun start to a four day weekend!!!!

today, we got up and they went to ihop with my mom, dad, cora, and her kids. i had a dr appt so that worked out perfect! then tonight, i took the kids to go see the lego movie, they loved it! austin has already requested we buy it when it comes out. landon and kennedy came over for a sleepover. the movie ended after 8 so we go home, put in jumanji cause they haven't seen it and riley and austin keep wanting to watch it over and over..... we tried looking for it on netflix- before i bought it- why buy when there's netflix?! and they didn't have it, but they did have a cartoon season of it. didn't even know they did that! the boys are loving it and it's something new for them. so anyways, we put that in and the kids got their blankets and pillows and took over the family room. i moved the coffee table so they would have more room. such a fun age where sleep overs are fun for them and they aren't driving me crazy!

i didn't get to see brad at all today. dang work and the movie time! we are actually going out this year! tomorrow! let's see if i get a chance to blog it. way excited for a night out! we usually don't do things for the holidays cause i have issues with someone telling me you have to do something because it is a holiday. i'd rather do something just to do something, not because you are obligated to do it, does that make sense? but we got tickets to the smith center to see casablanca and it happened to be this weekend and i'm just excited for a date night!!!

i did get one picture at the movies, i love having a camera on my phone that's somewhat decent so i can get some pictures! landon and austin were more interested in the commercials before the movie.
