Riley has never liked to have his syrup on his waffles/pancakes, so he always has a little bowl so he can dip them into. That way, his waffles/pancakes never get soggy and he doesn't have any problems eating them with a fork....but then again, he doesn't use a fork with waffles, only pancakes.
Austin, on the other hand, doesn't mind soggy waffles/pancakes. But lately, he has wanted to do things like his big brother and now he is a dipper too! Riley got out a bowl for Austin and he LOVED it!
And yes, we are having waffles for dinner....one of our favorite dinners is breakfast. Mine, at least...and now Riley's; he picked waffles for dinner tonight!

I should try that with Austin. He is the same way about soggy waffles and pancakes. Funny how they can be so finicky already!
