camping trip

riley and i went on our first camping trip with our scout pack. it was so much fun, i had forgotten how much i love camping....and how much i despise insects. we were up in the mountains just outside of kingman, arizona. it was FREEZING cold. the first day we were there it rained the entire afternoon. the rest of the weekend was perfect weather, but still very cold. i loved it. i want to go back.

and this was our tent- that i set up all by myself. my dad let me borrow one of his and had me set it up in the backyard before the trip so i would be okay, and it was so easy. took me back to all those years at girls camp!

i'm not sure what this station was. i was in charge of the volleyball station next to this one and by chance saw riley racing over carrying his tray of water in cups. 

we had so much fun! we weren't on the road home even 10 minutes when riley was asking when we were going again. and i need to do better with the camera, i missed so much that we did! i loved hanging out around the campfire, making the s'mores, the boys did skits that were so cute! i think we are hooked!
