so.....

recycling......

i've always wanted to do it. they come around the neighborhoods collecting it every month.

why don't we, you may ask? i don't like the crates we have that we are supposed to put all the recyclables in. i don't like having to sort through it. i don't like taking the crates to the curb so they could be collected and brought back to the house.

so here's our secret.....

we don't.

with riley learning all about saving the planet, how we should do our part to help, blah, blah, blah, it made me want to do it a little more.

but we didn't.

then my parents received two of the huge garage containers, one for garage and one for recycling. THEY ARE ON WHEELS!!!!

i couldn't wait to get one for our house. we would recycle once we got those.

ours came last week.

we started recycling.

now, anytime we want to put anything in it, we have to go to the garage and throw it in there. and when i say we, i mean riley. twenty times a day he would go.

i had an extra garbage can and on their day off from school, the boys decorated it so we could put the recycling in there and keep it in the laundry room.

the boys are loving it.
